One of the most famous drinks in Mexico, spicy and fruity. Decades ago, a fruit vendor, Oscar Hernández, prepared a drink with different fruit juices, chili peppers, and tequila. He named it Vampire because of its deep red color.
|Punta Santos Tequila Liqueur||1 ½ oz|
|Fresh Lime Juice||½ oz|
|Squirt Zero Sugar or Pomelo Soda||4 oz|
|Old Fashioned Glass|
Run lime wedge around the outer rim of an old-fashioned glass and dip rim in salt.
Next, fill the glass with ice.
Add 1 ½ oz Punta Santos Tequila Liqueur, 2 oz of Sangrita, and ½ oz of fresh lime juice.
Top with Squirt Zero Sugar or Pomelo Soda.
Stir the cocktail with a bar spoon.
